Eruptions in Bargersville!

Below are some great pictures of erupting volcanoes right here at Union Elementary. These students had to research, answer questions, construct a volcano, and present their models and findings to the class. They did a great job and their efforts should applauded! Great Job!

Last Wednesday, the entire school was treated to a motivational presentation. A yo-yo expert brought a great message to the entire student body using humor, yo-yo tricks, and sidekick named Ned. During the convocation we learned that Ned is an acronym for
N- Never give up
E- Encourage others
D- Do your best
The students were engaged and had a blast learning why it is important to strive to be successful.

The presenter chose several students to give their answer to one question about success. Gage Brown from our class was selected as the WINNER with the best answer! Gage was able to go up with the yo-yo expert and participate in some fun on- stage.

The balloon crown was made to be like fireworks shooting out of his super successful brain.

Gage also received a yo-yo and yo-yo holster for being such an amazing paticipant in the answering section of the convocation. Way to go Gage!

Guest Day!

Guest Day was loads of fun. We were so happy to share our lunch time with friends and family. The kids loved having their meal in the gym for this special occasion. Everyone was so quiet and well behaved! From a teacher's perspective- we should have Guest Day everyday!

Halloween Fun!
